Richard Essame (born 1939, died 2015 in Long Beach, California) was a male model, an English actor and a car mechanic.He is probably best known for his role as Tony in the film The Italian Job. His other film credit was in The Stud (1978). He also made an appearance in the tv series Department S, in the episode titled 'A Fish Out Of Water' in 1970.
After his film career, in 1976 he moved to Mallorca, Spain. Then he settled in the USA in 1983, opening a Motor Shop called Silver Motors, in Long Beach, CA. Specialising in British car repairs.
I was notified that Richard had passed away in 2015 (TBC).

Hi 👋, I know Richard Essame he was my father's manager as my dad Carlos Gordillo worked for him for 32 plus years at silvers motors. Richard did not pass away in 2015 to be correct it happened on October 2014.
